The devs from Massive together with ESL (Electronic Sports League) held the first World in Conflict public tournament - seemingly using the game's beta version - at the gigantic "Dreamhack" LAN party in Sweden. This is said to be the largest LAN party in the world, with over 7,000 computers and 10,000 gamers. The World in Conflict tournament culminates with a battle between the winning clan and Massive's team.
