Phantasy Star Portable 2 is a sequel to Sega's handheld adaptation of its Phantasy Star Universe game, ported to the PSP in 2008. Once again developed by Alfa System, this sequel takes place three years after the events of its predecessor, when a new problem arises: the resources in Gurhal are quickly diminishing. Due to this, a "sub-space sailing theory" was set in place, where Gurhalians migrate to outer space. The player will participate in a private military group known as "Little Wing" on the space colony resort Clad 6. Phantasy Star Portable 2 is releasing in Japan for the PSP on December 3, 2009.
