Love Plus follows in the footsteps of Konami's line of dating sims, and its prolific Tokimeki Memorial franchise in particular. Released in Japan on September 3, 2009 for the Nintendo DS, Love Plus became an instant success, fueled by the too-good-to-be-true features promised by Konami. In the game, players can court any of three girls, trying to get them to fall in love. That's where most dating sims end - Love Plus is just getting started.
