Final Fantasy XIV Online will be the second MMORPG in Square Enix's epic franchise. The game will be set in the world of Eorzea, and it's currently set for a simultaneous global release on the PC and PlayStation 3 at some point in 2010. Its diary-styled story goes like this... Nestled in a far corner of Hydaelyn, battered by restless seas, lies a realm over which the Twelve hold vigil. And so, seeking glory and greatness, riches and renown, we set out for this land - Eorzea. On our journey, lifelong friendships were forged and tearful farewells were bade, as Nymedia the Spinner toiled, ever weaving our fates. Yet the land we found was not without peril. And so we fight on! Until restless seas run dry.
