The free update "Total Payback" for Mercenaries 2 will add 6 new playable characters, worldwide co-op (allowing gamers to play in multiplayer with people from around the world), cheats, "and other fixes". Total Payback will be released on XBLM for Xbox 360 on October 13, and on PSN for PlayStation 3 on October 20.
