Valkyria Chronicles, also known as Valkyrie of the Battlefield: Gallian Chronicles in Japan, is an action-RPG (with some strategy elements) set in a World War-like scenario, but with a distinctive anime look to it. Starting from April 2009, an anime version titled Senjou no Valkyria is also being released as a TV series adapted by studio A-1 Pictures.
