Two New Heroes of Might and Magic V Maps This Month

You may argue about its gameplay, you may argue about its AI, or even about other aspects, but one thing that Heroes of Might and Magic V definitely lacks is more extra maps. Coupled with the continuing absence of a game editor, or at least a random map generator for multiplayer maps, this makes for one of the main complaints the fans continue to rave about, when rightfully flaming Ubisoft's and Nival's reincarnation of the once mighty TBS series.

So, how do the game's creators respond to this situation? By preparing a whopping two new maps! And what's more, instead of putting them up for download, they'll only send them to you via email at the end of this month, if you're willing to register an Ubi.com account before July 21st (unless you already have one), and check the opt-in box to receive communication from Ubisoft. Talk about desperate lack of subscribers...

Of course, no details whatsoever about the maps were given on the official website, nor do we know when the missing editor will be "patched" into Heroes of Might and Magic V. Buy hey, look on the bright side: at least the maps will be free!
