World of Warcraft Expansion Alliance Race Now Official

"Nearly twenty-five thousand years ago, the eredar race arose on the world of Argus. They were extremely intelligent and had a natural affinity for magic in all its myriad forms. Using their gifts, they developed a vast and wondrous society." So began the history of the Draenei - the now-official new Alliance race announced by Blizzard for their World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade!

A hoard of new screenshot are now available in our local gallery, depicting some Draenei characters in fierce battle, along with the already announced Blood Elves in their deceivingly lively looking homelands, and various other landscapes from the upcoming expansion. Blizzard also released an E3 2006 trailer for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, and to make things even better, they're also offering a Naxxramas trailer, giving us a glimpse of the cursed necropolis coming in the next WoW patch, version 1.11.

While waiting for these couple of downloads, be sure to check out Blizzard's Burning Crusade mini-site, where plenty of other goodies await you - including a history of the Draenei, one for the Blood Elves as well, new wallpapers and an updated FAQ. If all this madness will be unleased before the end of 2006, we're sure as hell doomed this Christmas!
