| TES IV: Oblivion On PS3 & PSP, Star Trek: Legacy Shots // UPDATE
Word on the 'net is that a certain release list with Bethesda's future games was inadvertently mailed in the wrong place, and the recipient was kind enough to make it public. The most important title revealed - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - isn't new at all in itself; however the attached platforms may take you by surprise: PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable! Gamasutra tends to believe this rumour, noting that the release date for these versions (not yet officially confirmed) is November 2006 - thus making Oblivion a launch title for Sony's next-gen console.
And speaking of Oblivion, the OblivionDownloads.com website now offers the other two modules we mentioned earlier this month: the quest for repairing the Orrey (priced at $1.89), and a Wizard's Tower added in Jeral Mountains (also $1.89).
Finally, back on topic, the leaked list also shows other previously announced titles, like Star Trek: Battlestations for PS2 and Star Trek: Legacy for Xbox 360 - a series that fans can keep an eye on thanks to the newly opened StarTrek.bethsoft.com website. All new screenshots we found there were naturally grabbed and posted here and here.
UPDATE: Next-Gen.biz received the following elusive response from Bethesda: "At present we have no announced plans to bring Oblivion to any platforms other than PC or Xbox 360. We'll certainly let folks know if that changes". Now surely, there's a difference between "having no announced plans" and "vehemently denying" something... so there's still hope. [27.04.2006, 18:10]
