After Atari managed to get a hold of Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) from its previous publisher Vivendi, a while back, it's now Vivendi's turn to secure the rights for a title that was intensely promoted by Atari, up until recently: TimeShift, the futuristic shooter developed by Saber Interactive will be showcased at E3 2006 by Vivendi, as reported by GameSpot. For now, this sudden change of publishers translates into an uncertain release date - "when it's done", as well as a possible cancellation of the game's Xbox version - since Vivendi only confirmed the existence of TimeShift's PC and Xbox 360 versions in their portfolio.
