Not so long ago, Strategy First announced that the Russians from MiST Land South were no longer developing Disciples III, and that the project was instead being entrusted to a new developer, unknown at that time. Well, the mystery has finally been lifted and we now learn that the third part in the popular TBS series - titled Disciples III: Renaissance - will still be developed by some Russians. But not just any: it's Akella and their partner studio .dat who have taken on the burden of advancing the Disciples franchise to the next level.

Furthermore, Strategy First also released the first screenshots from the game - or at least from within the engine, and you can see them in our local Disciples III gallery. Looking good!
