The Witcher Returns To E3, New Screenshots

The Polish studio CD Projekt announced today that it will showcase at E3 2006 the same RPG they've been teasing us with for the past couple of years, namely The Witcher. Ever since it was revealed at E3 2004 (inside BioWare's booth at that time, as the game is based on NWN's Aurora engine), The Witcher advanced quite nicely both in terms of gameplay, as well as graphics - with plenty of eye catching effects and a physics system. The latest trailers from October were already showing us a solid RPG, but unfortunately today's announcement also carries the tentative release date "Spring 2007". So with a bit of bad luck, we'll be hearing about it again at next year's E3.
