Project Gotham Racing 3 Downloadable Speed Pack

With all the fuss about digital distribution going on these days, it's becoming something of a habit for publishers to expand their games with miniature add-ons sold through the Xbox Live Marketplace service (as was the case with the Oblivion horse armors, last week). So the Project Gotham Racing 3 devs couldn't have picked a better time for releasing their first "Speed Pack", which will be available for download on Xbox Live starting April 17 - the same day that the first PGR3 global tournament debuts, conveniently enough.

Bizzare Creations will be offering the Speed Pack in two versions: one for free, granting access to the tournament and one additional car, among other small enhancements. And another one costing 400 Marketplace points ($5), consisting of 12 new cars. The official website only mentions two of them - the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage - so it's up for the over-generous fans to discover the other ten.
