Halo MMO, GTA For Xbox 360, And FF7 For PS3 Rumours

Not only did GameInformer get their hands on the first details about Red Steel (Ubisoft's flagship FPS for Nintendo Revolution), but they're also promoting some rather dubious rumours. The first one claims the existence of a MMO game placed in the Halo universe ("Project Orion"), that's supposedly in the planning stages over at Bungie. This is said to be a different title than Halo 3 (Forerunner), despite the fact that last month the very idea of "huge persistent worlds" was directly tied to Halo 3.

The next rumour once again brings the future of the Grand Theft Auto series into discussion, saying that Microsoft is "in the process of trying" to bring the next GTA game on the Xbox 360 (I wonder when they'll get to actually "trying", not to mention "doing" it). And finally, another idea that we heard about before is the Final Fantasy VII remake for the PlayStation 3 - a game which, according to GameInformer, is already in production at Square Enix, and will supposedly be using the real-time battle system from FF XII. Well, I guess we'll see about that...
