Milestone Warming Up Super-Bikes: Riding Challenge
For more than a decade now, the Italians from Milestone have kept us in constant motion with their racing games - be it Screamer, Superbike, or lately SCAR and Evolution GT. And since the latter is just about to race into stores this month, it was about time they pulled the curtains off the next simulator that they're working on. It's not a four-wheeled simulator this time around, but one dedicated to "some of the most powerful bikes on the planet", as publisher Black Bean puts it. The old "Superbike" title had to be tweaked a little, as it's still an Electronic Arts brand, and in the end Milestone and Black Bean settled on Super-Bikes: Riding Challenge.
The game is only due for the PC and PlayStation 2, yet it dares promise us a "visual feast", along with cutting edge physics, superior AI (superior to what?), and total control over the beasts between our legs. Umm... Right, there's no release timeframe set so far, only this bunch of screenshots and a trailer showing some in-game scenes from the PS2 version of Super-Bikes: Riding Challenge.
