Halo 3 Might Be Released In March 2007

Just a few more hours separate us from the dreadful April 1st, during which time we promise to do our best not to make any sick jokes. Although we can't guarantee that others won't pull some crazy stunts... IGN, for instance, is claiming that its infallible "inside sources" have confirmed that the release of the future Halo 3 (or Forerunners, if you wish) will take place in March 2007.

Obviously, the jaws of Microsoft remained shut when asked for comments. But avoiding the end of 2006 might have something to do with the launch of Nintendo's Revolution and especially Sony's PlayStation 3 consoles around that time... "who knows?"... In any case, some concrete news about Halo 3 are expected to surface during the upcoming E3, where [at least] a video presentation of Bungie's game is expected to be shown.
