Inhabited Island - A New TBS Coming From Wargaming.net

Wargaming.net are mostly known among turn-based strategy maniacs for their Massive Assault series, but as of today they will (hopefully) be remembered for another title: Inhabited Island. This new TBS was announced in collaboration with Russian publisher Akella, and is being based on Strugatsky brothers' bestseller "Inhabitated Island" - also known as "Prisoner of Power" (wiki).

"Khonties, Barbarians and the Island Empire, being all unyielding enemies, will get involved in fierce warfare set to destroy the entire race of the Land of Fathers. Each race will possess and develop easily distinguishable technologies. Therefore, heavy armored, transport, and aviation units, each of absolutely different construction will be present on the battlefield. The battles will take place among 3D vivid extraterrestrial landscapes, with day and night change and dynamic weather conditions will affect the gameplay."

The first Inhabited Island screenshots have already been added in our local gallery, and we expect more goodies to surface at this year's E3, where the game will take advantage of Akella's booth space.
