Dreamfall: The Longest Journey Ready To Start, At Last

Some three years after Funcom first confirmed the development of The Longest Journey 2 - sequel to the best adventure game of the year 2000, the long-awaited project has finally reached the Golden finish line! According to the game's American publisher, Aspyr Media, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is now Gold and will be released on 17 April, both for the PC and Xbox.

The story will once again feature April from the first TLJ, but only in a supporting role (alongside Zoë Castillo and Kian) and seemingly with a much more aggressive attitude. This very orientation towards Action, instead of just Adventure, has already made Dreamfall a bit less desired by the genre's fans, who were probably expecting a sequel closer to the original's style of play. But that certainly doesn't mean we won't be able to enjoy a great game... especially if the PC version turns out to be more than just an Xbox variation. [/prey]
