| After their successful debut with Knights of the Old Republic II, it was pretty clear that Feargus Urquhart and his bunch of obsidians would stick with making RPGs for... like... ever! And although their next project Neverwinter Nights 2 is also going to be a sequel, it was just a matter of time before they'd set up their own show. And they have!
As it turns out, their first original RPG is actually being developed for SEGA, who plan to make a buck or two by releasing it on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. No idea when exactly, but that never stopped anyone from getting over-excited, now did it. So... we'll just have to wait and see if Obisidian is also capable of creating an equally fascinating universe, as the ones they inherited from BioWare up until now.
No details about the project are currently known, and what's worse, SEGA's evasive comments aren't giving us much hope for an E3 2006 presentation. But there is one interesting bit that's worth noting: the game's genre and platforms perfectly match those of the mysterious project which was revealed back in January, when Obsidian was hiring like crazy for one (or more) RPGs, for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. So much for KotOR 3?
