Miniature racing games were once Codies' pride and glory, despide their orientation towards larger and more... massively multiplayer games, in recent years. Ironically enough however, their new MMO RF Online's package has revealed a most pleasant surprise: namely the return of their golden Micro Machines! The news has already been confirmed by a Codemasters spokesperson with TVG, revealing the Micro Machines V4 title for the PC, PS2 and PSP, already set for release this Summer.

At the back of an accompanying booklet for MMORPG RF Online is a teaser page for the forthcoming title, called Micro Machines V4, which according to the copy will be "...bringing its own hilarious brand of mini multiplayer madness to PC."

It's worth poiting out that the last Micro Machines (V3) belonged to Atari (Infogrames) back in 2002, but hopefully the Brits will manage to bring back the fun and madness of their tiny little cars, boats and helicopters, from long ago. I for one am still having nightmares about those damn cars falling off the snooker table at the worse moment possible, or being pushed into the water by my lovingly split-screening brother. Revenge shall be... micro!
