Just as they were predicting last month, Turbine has finally finished work on their Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach MMORPG, Atari gave them the green light, and so the 'gold' discs are now en route to the replication centers. The release date is therefore set for 28 February on the North-American continent, while Codemasters are still making some last minute preparation for the game's arrival in Europe, most likely during March.
The ongoing beta-testing phase is still running on both sides of the ocean, and will oficially come to an end on the 20th of February (at least in the US). Among the usual marketing gibberish filling Turbine's press release, the devs also extended their thanks to some 300,000 players that signed up for the Beta (I wonder how many of them had their hopes shattered to oblivion). This already makes up for a very solid fan base, which was only to be expected, after all, from the first MMO based on the legendary Dungeons & Dragons universe.
