Guild Wars: Nightfall At Leipzig GC, First Trailer Now

Confirming its presence at next week's Leipzig Games Convention (23–27 August), NCsoft Europe also announced that both Guild Wars expansions will be featured at the event. GC 2006 will mark the culmination of six months of intense online battles in the first Guild Wars: Factions world championship, and top guilds from all over the world will gather in Germany for their final confrontation, battling it out for prizes totaling $100,000.

Visitors on the show floor will also be treated to the first look of ArenaNet's upcoming title Guild Wars: Nightfall, the next campaign in their cvasi-free Guild Wars series.

"Guild Wars: Nightfall takes place on the continent of Elona, Land of the Golden Sun, which has fallen under the shadow of an evil, outcast god. The people of Elona will need more than a hero to save them, they will need a hero to lead them... for nightfall is at hand."
