| The end of July saw the Oriental release of Bullet Witch, a (more or less-) horror action game developed by Cavia and published by AQ Interactive over in Japan. Apparently Atari is also pretty impressed with the game, as they recently announced an agreement with AQ allowing them to spread Bullet Witch throughout the US and Europe.
There's still no release date set for the game's international version, but at least we have a few new screenshots in our Bullet Witch gallery today. Pretty low-res and not that ecstatic really, but good enough for any goths out there.
Bullet Witch is supposed to be drawing its inspiration from American horror and Japanese fantasy monsters. The game is set on a bleak planet Earth in the year 2013, with human kind on the brink of extinction and hideous demons creating a tidal wave of destruction and havoc. All hope of mankind's survival rests with Alicia, a witch blessed with magical skills and a swift trigger finger.
After the game launches, Atari will also provide additional downloadable content over the Xbox Live, including more character costumes and extra levels.
