StarCraft 2 or Warcraft IV? Ladies and gents, place your bets... while you still can. Because, once again, Blizzard is staffing up for a new real-time strategy game, as indicated by the latest job opening posted a few days ago on the company's website. This time, they are looking for "a talented level designer with experience building levels using any popular 3D Real-Time Strategy game toolset (Warcraft 3, Rise of Legends, Command and Conquer, etc)".

On top of that, Blizzard also issued a media alert yesterday, announcing plans to strengthen their current development efforts by refocusing key members of their console team (so much for StarCraft: Ghost) on other projects within the company. What could these "other projects" be? Other than sequels for any / all of their three big franchises - Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo? Well, this is all they had to say for now:

"In addition to the team currently at work on World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, Blizzard currently has separate teams at different stages of development on several unannounced games. Further details on these projects, as well as on possible future console plans, will be revealed at a later date."

In short, they're working on more than one unannounced game, all for the PC, and at least one of them is a strategy. Right... so, what else is new?
